You know the old saying, When it rains , It pours?. Well that has been this week. We had a cloud to cloud lighting strike right over the house. No real damage except to my monitor and printer. Both blew out never to return. So we scrambled and found a monitor that my hubby had but was not using and got that sety up and then found a nice printer on sale and got that. Total cost less than 200.00 dollars. I think I lucked out. So I am now back u and running and doing good. Oh and with all the storms that we have been having, and they have been some storms, the roof to the old barn started to blow off, so that is definately tomarrows project.
I finished a large class in a week and got my certification for that. That was the second one and I am happy to have gotten it done. There are a few classes that were free and I am working on downloading them so that I can have them also. I also got four Japanese slab binding books made this week. I have two more that I want to make or at least start this week. That pretty much brings me up to date with this years books.
The garden has been growing cucumbers and eggplant like crazy and I am having a hard time keeping up with it all. The tomatoes have been hit or miss, with wilt taking over just as soon as they start producing. Same with the squash. Got to figure out what we are doing wrong. I really want to get this undercontrol so that we can keep producing vegs for the families.
Well thats all the news, See ya down on the farm
