I  went to Bar Hammock yesterday just to see what it was all about.   I had a great time even though I needed to bring a hat, and probably some water.

Bar Hammock is a state preserve near where I live.  It has a 6.5 mile trail through it called the Levy Loop, and a marsh land called the Levy Prairie.  I walked about 2 miles of it and enjoyed the walk.  It was very peaceful and quiet  except for the hawk that was calling .   I got some good photos also.   Then I stopped by Paynes Prairie on the way home.   I got a few photos there.  documenting the high water,  which has gone down about 1 ft or so.   I also found one of the resident critters.
